Bulk Foods, Coffees and Herbs

Our new bulk system makes stocking up a breeze. From our aisle of grains, flours, nuts, beans, dried fruits, and other staples, to racks of fair trade certified shade grown organic coffees, and a vast assortment of herbs and spices you're sure to find what you need.

Supplements, Vitamins and Personal Care

We stock a wide variety of natural cruelty free shampoos, creams, lotions and other personal care products, along with a spectacular range of the best vitamins and dietary supplements.

Kitchen and Community

In addition to the art shows and lively conversation in Mountain People's Kitchen, we provide an information board to help the community interface.

Coolers, Juices, Teas and Sweets

Mountain People's is a full vegetarian grocery, with organic dairy and dairy substitutes, local eggs and honey, breads, meat alternatives, juices, teas, and a marvelous sweet shelf on the way out.

Books, Cards and Gifts

In addition to our selection of books on health and nutrition we carry a selection of cards, incense, local crafts, tye-dyes and gifts.

Parking and Checkout

Mountain People's has a prime location downtown with actual on site parking, and helpful, efficient checkout staff who can help carry groceries and entertain children. We reuse donated grocery bags in good quality, helping to reduce our environmental impact.
