Since 1975, Mountain People's Market Coop (known to locals as "The Co-op") has offered residents of Morgantown and its environs an unparalleled range of natural and organic products. With a great selection of bulk items and a membership program that's inexpensive and easy to take part in The Coop is a unique resource in our area. What started as a buying club is now a full-service store, open to everyone and enjoyed by members and non-members alike.

But the Coop is more than a store--it's also one of the hubs of Morgantown's alternative community. You'll be rubbing shoulders with a huge range of folks: doctors, lawyers, and University professors, artists, musicians. poets, anarchists, and maybe even your next door neighbor.
